I'm Ashley. A mother to two boys, pastor's wife, graduate student, writer, lover of books, traveler, and loving every moment (good and bad) that the Lord blesses me with. I put my education/academia career on hold a few years ago to stay home with our kiddos and boy, has it been an adventure! Being a mom has taught me more than any textbook. I started this blog because I loved the idea of having a written record of life to look back upon. My original idea was to take my blogs and put them into a photo book each year for our family to enjoy in the future. What started out as merely updates on our life has turned into a little more - a place where I share my thoughts, my struggles, and maybe a recipe here and there. Feel free to take a glimpse into our little world as I journey through the things I said I'd never do, but now love (like marry a pastor and become a stay-at-home-mom) and the things I've always dreamed of doing (bring on graduate school or traveling). You'll find, as I have, that life never goes as planned, but that's when you find the most amazing gifts and blessings you never knew you needed!
